Our cook, Sue, prepares all of the school meals in our kitchens.
Sue takes time to get to know the children, and their tastes, and is always happy to discuss any issues or concerns with parents.
All menus have been approved by Cumbria Contracts Services, to ensure the quality and nutritional value.
We operate a Lunch Shop system through Orian.
Each child is allocated a login for Lunch Shop, available from Diane, the School Business Manager.
Every day there is:
A Hot Option
or
Baguette
or
Jacket Potato
Pudding
or
Fresh Fruit and Yoghurt
Parents then log into the system from home or mobile phone, deposit payment through a debit card or credit card and proceed to order their child's lunches for up to three weeks in advance.
We have found this is a great way for parent and child to share choosing what they have for lunch.
