May 2023: Celebrating the King's Coronation and our annual May Procession for Mary

April 2023: We have enjoyed adding to our Nature Notebook by drawing our beautiful tulips and Prayer Bear has new things to explore in his overnight bag.

February 2023: this month we have had Storytelling Week, been building outdoors, made mountain pictures and models in Mountain Week. We are writing lots more in free play, baking bread and made sketches of the snowdrop bulbs before planting them.

January: Happy New Year! We have been using our mathematical learning and vocabulary whilst baking buns; created block bridges and bowling alleys; smudging oil pastels to create our new hall display and our own designed rainbow pictures. In phonics we are learning to read 'ch', 'sh' and 'ee' sounds and had great fun exploring the snow and ice. This week we created art in Hibernation Week and also learned about other faiths and places of worship around the world.

December: It has been so cold this month! but luckily we are super warm in class. We have made fantastic poinsettia Christmas cards by printing paint and have learned about winter birds in Robin Week. We also had Christmas dinner and jumper day. To end our term we performed in our Nativity and Santa visited too! Merry Christmas.

November: We had done such a lot this month! Patterns and counting, taking Prayer Bear home, writing our names, Fire Safety Week, icing biscuits for our Buddy Coffee Afternoon, Poppies, rainy day play, Hedgehog Week and a visit from PC Norman about road safety.

October: We have visited the library, added more Numberblocks, been writing our names and we have enjoyed Pumpkin week! In R.E. Mrs Grice wrote all of the things that we are thankful for on our Thankful Pumpkin. Then we investigated inside the pumpkin!
